About This Work:
We Love You Here represents the creation of a loving home. The title is drawn from the phrase "we love you here" that my husband and I shared in our relationship prior to our daughter being born. Before becoming parents, our "we" included one another and our house plants, and expressed our love for the home we built together. My experience of growing up without a positive relationship example inspired me to break that cycle for my children. I used many layers of acrylic paint to express depth in this work, paralleling my layered path to true love.

How It Was Made:
This art print started out as an acrylic painting on professional canvas paper, with gold foil detail. I then scan my paintings to create the highest quality prints and use a specialty print shop to produce gold foil details. Please note: colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do on your art print.
